Edelweiss Ecohouse is located 12 km from the ski resort on Bjelasica Mountain, at an altitude of 1,450 metres above sea level. The resort offers 17 km of ski runs of varying difficulty, suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers.
Biogradska Gora is a protected natural reserve and one of Europe’s most remarkable parks. Covering more than 5,000 hectares in the Tara and Lim river valleys, it preserves a landscape of ancient, unspoilt nature that has remained virtually unchanged for centuries.
Hidden deep within untouched forest, the Komovi Mountains appeal to those drawn to wilder, more adventurous landscapes. Dense woodland, rocky trails, and bare mountain peaks open onto sweeping views of valleys, springs, and alpine pastures.
The largest lake in the Balkans, Lake Skadar is known for its beautiful shoreline, dotted with small fishing villages and monasteries, as well as its rich birdlife.
One of the deepest canyons in the world, reaching 1,300 metres in depth. It offers rafting, fishing, and spectacular views of Đurđevića Tara Bridge, which rises 172 metres above the canyon.
A majestic national park and UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its dramatic mountains, glacial lakes, and deep gorges. Its most iconic natural landmarks are Mount Durmitor and Black Lake.
Known for their rich history and cultural significance, Pljevlja and the Holy Trinity Monastery are among the region’s notable heritage landmarks. For many years, the monastery served as a centre of spiritual life, education, and traditional decorative arts.
Located near the town of Žabljak, Black Lake appears almost dark from above, which gives it its name. Surrounded by mountain peaks, it offers a peaceful and secluded natural setting. Some visitors compare Black Lake to Lake Ritsa.
One of Montenegro’s most revered sacred sites, Ostrog Monastery is carved into a sheer rock face at an altitude of 900 metres above sea level. Visitors come here from around the world to experience the unique atmosphere and spiritual significance of this extraordinary place.
A popular destination for ski enthusiasts, the Bjelasica Plateau is known for its winter appeal. During the season, snow cover can reach up to 3 metres, and the slopes cater to both beginners and experienced skiers.
Located in northern Montenegro, Žabljak is the highest town in the country. Small and compact in scale, it has around 600 permanent residents in winter, while its town centre remains remarkably intimate in size.
Often overlooked in favour of Montenegro’s better-known landmarks, Lake Piva is no less striking in its beauty and scale. Some travellers compare it to the Scandinavian fjords. Surrounded by steep cliffs, the lake is known for its exceptionally clear waters.
Located on the border between Montenegro and Albania, Prokletije National Park is defined by glacial lakes, waterfalls, and 40 mountain peaks — an exceptional setting for hiking. Here, it is just mountains and unspoilt nature.
More than 2.5 km of winding passages adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. Lipa Cave is Montenegro’s best-equipped and most visited cave, revived in 2015 following a major restoration.
Home to one of Montenegro’s most scenic rivers, the Morača River Canyon is a striking natural setting shaped by the river over centuries. It is ideal for walks, photography, and fishing.
